Spring A.C.E. classes have started! This is the calendar for the remainder of the Spring session for those who are registered.

March 2 - 6 is Read Across America Week, as well as Respect Week for Special Olympics. Sahs is celebrating both this year with a Wild West Theme Week. Throughout the week, students and staff will learn more about selected disabilities, as well as read books that are tied to disability awareness, respect, and kindness!


Student Showcase, Book Fair and Talent Show - Friday February 27, 2026. Student Showcase and Book Fair start at 5:30. Talent Shows starts at 6:45.


The book fair is here at Sahs! Students have enjoyed shopping for some great new reads this week, and we're looking forward to more shoppers tomorrow and Friday. The book fair will also be open to shop on Friday night from 5:30-6:30 before the Talent Show.





Sahs students had fun learning about the Olympics and holding their own opening and closing ceremonies during PE.

History came alive as 6th graders created their own Egyptian papyrus!








Constitutional Convention in 7th grade! It's that time of year! Learning made fun :)










7th graders are learning about DNA. We built DNA candy models to help understand the parts of DNA.



The Book Fair is coming! Anderson's Book Fair returns to Sahs School February 23 - February 27. All students will get to preview the fair and make a shopping wish list, and then shop during their scheduled library class time. Coming to the Talent Show/Student Showcase on February 27th? The book fair will be open for families to shop that evening!


We had a lot of fun reviewing vowel consonant silent e patterns today, and got some great practice with long e words!




Mrs. Grachan’s kindergarten class has been discussing the trait of the month, honesty. They have been completing coloring pages and reciting the Honesty Chant during their morning lessons.

100 days wiser! In Social Studies junior high students celebrated the 100th day in style and by bringing in creative collections of 100 things!! Learning + laughter = the best kind of history lesson! We ended the day with a 100 student chain!
