Students enjoyed creating and animating their robotic animals using our new Birdbrain robotics kits. They had to design, build and program their animals to move, make sounds, and light up. Success for all teams!
Ms. Dyrkacz's 8th grade health class is learning about child development and joined some of the preschoolers for centers. Everyone enjoyed working with their buddies.

Social Studies Drip Day: Boots, Hats, and Big History Energy! 8th grade has been learning how Mexicano culture shaped the Southwest and now we’re bringing it to life!






Mini-figs in ice? Challenge accepted! Tiny hands, big thinking! Today we rescued frozen Lego mini figures and practiced problem solving along the way :)










7th grade created mitosis models and did a gallery walk to learn from each other's models.




Meet Fizz Mc Twinkle, the official Lab Elf-in-Training in Mrs. Christensen's science class! He traveled all the way from the North Pole Science Department (NPSD) to spend the next few weeks observing their scientific genius.


8th grade traveled the Oregon Trail using the 1988-1991 game format and MANY made it all the way with no casualties! What a fun way to learn and wrap up our Life in the West Unit!
